18 months

At the beginning of November my little Meg turned 18 months. What can I say about this girl? Ornery! She has developed such a big personality for her little body. She is such a brute when it comes to her sisters. She is a hair puller and a beginner biter. Both things that I am trying to put a stop to. She is not talking AT ALL! I've never had a mute at this age. All of the other girls were complete sentences. I am blaming it on the fact that I didn't teach her sign language like I did the other girls. I'm not concerned though, eventually she will talk and it will be at quite a loud decibel I am sure. And just because she is not using words, she can definitely get her point across. That's where her fiestiness comes in. And she doesn't like Brian. I'm not saying that she doesn't love him. I just mean that usually by this age, the girls prefer Brian to me. They can't wait to see Daddy and want all of his attention. Not Megan. She is a Mama's girl. She is perfectly fine being with Brian, but wants me. I'm trying to enjoy it, knowing that it may change at any time.

The best part of 18 months is that she can finally go to nursery at church. She doesn't have any problem going and the nursery workers seem to enjoy her.

So, her 18 month stats (if I am remembering correctly) are : 23.8 pounds (37th %), 31.5 inches (50%- I'm not sure if this measurement is correct, I'm going to need to double check) and her head was in the 65%.  She doesn't look like she has a fat head, but apparently she does.  So, this picture was taken during lunch when she was being goofy, so please forgive the peanut butter and yogurt on her face:)

Darcy doesn't talk yet either, just grunts and points. We should get them together and see if they can really communicate with each other! And 65th percentile is not a fat head. Drew and Mason always measure off the chart! I like to think its because they are so smart and their brains are so big. Darcy, (OK, really its me) is so excited to join the kids in nursery in a month!

Maybe she doesn't talk because everyone talks for her or responds to her every want without her needing to express it. She is a cutie! We miss you guys.
